My name is Drew Ballard, I’m a third generation commercial fisherman from Grand Isle, Louisiana. As a lifelong fisherman, I got my start shrimping with my dad riding out into the Gulf of Mexico in a carseat as a toddler. I have since worked my way up in the industry as a captain of an offshore charter fishing boat and as Gulf Seafood Manager for Pappas Restaurants. Now I’m an award-winning seafood sales rep for Ocean Beauty Seafoods, and I am dedicated to promoting sustainable seafood options and protecting our oceans. For me, seafood is the answer to feeding the world – and I’m on a mission to make sure everyone knows it!
